| Comments: | My edition is from 2001. The designer is Alan R Moon and Aaron Wessblum. The game is
played in Rounds. Each Round has the following four Phases. It's a really good auction game. The paying of the spell cards is an interesting mechanism, as the price you are paying is used as a duration counter on the spell. This mean that you sometimes want to bid more than minimum. You only have 10 energy stones, which you may bid and place upon one or more spell cards. You placed the energy stones upon the card you got and take of one (some spells costs 2 per round) during the energy phase. Avoid play the game with more than 4 players, as the duration increases exponentially. The components are just gorgeous. |
